Tchetin Kazak is a Bulgarian politician, who also exercises the functions of an attorney-at-law at the Sofia Bar, a lecturer in law and an arbitrator.
Tchetin Kazak has earned a DESS in International Business Law at the University of Burgundy, in Dijon (France), and a PhD in Law at the Institute for the State and the Law of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
In 2001 Tchetin Kazak was elected member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria. He held the position of deputy for 16 years, from 2001 to 2017. During this period, he held the positions of Vice-President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Head of the Bulgarian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO and Head of the Bulgarian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie.
During the years 2005-2007, Tchetin Kazak also held the position of observer member at the European Parliament.
Tchetin Kazak has been practicing as an attorney at law since 2003. He specializes mainly in the fields of business law, administrative law and international law. In particular, he provides services for the benefit of Bulgarian investors, helping them to develop international contacts with France, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Morocco and Qatar.
Since 2019 Tchetin Kazak has been teaching law at the following establishments, located in Sofia: the New Bulgarian University, the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT) and the University of Telecommunications and Posts.
Since 2019 Tchetin Kazak has been performing the function of arbitrator with the International Arbitral Court in Sofia.
Tchetin Kazak is bilingual in Bulgarian and Turkish. He is fluent in English, French and Russian.
